Raffkind’s is a specialty retailer in Amarillo, TX, that has offered premium women’s and men’s apparel to customers in the Texas panhandle since 1910. We have decades of retail experience and treat our customers as friends by creating meaningful relationships with them.

Our store was founded on the principles of integrity and honesty, the same fundamental values we stand for today. We offer alterations and gift wrapping and deliver complete customer satisfaction to ensure you enjoy your shopping experience. Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations.

Eli Raffkind, our company founder, migrated from Russia and opened his first store in downtown Amarillo in 1910. His son, Morris, took over the family business after serving in the Marine Corps during World War II. In the early 1950s, Raffkind’s catered to the Amarillo Air Force Base, extending credit to airmen.

George Raffkind, our store’s third-generation owner, took over the business in 1982 and opened a second location. Raffkind’s opened another store in Wolflin Village in 1994, continuing Raffkind’s tradition of providing superb style to its customers.

In 2016, George sold the store to three longtime employees—Adrea, Chad, and David—who have over 100 years of combined experience. The new owners are dedicated to ensuring Raffkind’s legacy of providing exceptional clothing lives on.
